Very welcoming, delicious breakfast, clean and bright rooms

Pros: Lovely welcome from Anne, she couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. Room was clean, had everything we needed and the breakfast was delicious. We ended having to stay another night and Anne kept our rooms for us just in case. Id highly recommend a stay and we will be back. Many thanks

Pros: Lovely people, very helpful when first aid needed! Fabulous breakfasts. Quiet location, certainly lived up to 'clear sky' billing. Great base for exploring Galloway.

Ideal place to stay for Wigtown and Galloway Hills.

Pros: Great location. Excellent breakfast. Room was good size and very nice.

Pros: Room was good quality, owners were very helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Short walk to town centre (Food at the Crown hotel was good - only real option)

Cons: Although the property was close to the town apart from meals and drinks at the Crown Hotel there was no other reason to go there.

Really helpful and lovely

Pros: The room and food were good, there was a very friendly and helpful atmosphere. Being able to put walking gear to dry in a drying room was a great help.

Cons: Note that this B&B is well signed from the road and the satnav found it OK, as the location is not central but tucked away. There are not a hug choice of places to eat and the better one is further away, but walkable.
