A really comfortable stay

Pros: Our room was spotlessly clean, quiet and close to the town centre. It is only a 5 minute drive to the Cairnryan Ferry terminal, which was the reason for our visit to Stranraer on this occasion. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was great, and set us up for our crossing to Larne. If we use this route to Ireland again, or if we decide to spend more time in the area, we would definitely try and stay here again.

Lovely guest house close to ferry port

Pros: Nice, comfortable room and delicious cooked breakfast. Free parking opposite the guest house and five minute drive to ferry port at Cairn Ryan.

Pros: Everything was so great. Very warm greeting by the proprietor and a wee dram! Very nice touch. Comfortable room and quiet at night. Good WiFi. Didn't have breakfast but looked great.

Pros: Very good nice hosts and brilliant breakfast ideal area

Cons: Not really there fault but was on top floor and my wife who as a disability so the stairs where a problem for her so if you have a disability ask for a lower floor but that's all.

Not modern but homely and friendly

Pros: Sorry we spent the night before going for early ferry to Belfast so no breakfast but on arrival we were offered fresh milk and a wee dram of whiskey lovely touch from hosts tea and coffee available in our room lovely

Cons: Close to ferry port and restaurants wee had a lovely overnight stay

Pros: Fabulous little place. Very welcoming, clean and very well kept. Comfortable beds and a gorgeous breakfast. Lovely hosts who I feel could raise their prices - absolutely amazing value for money. Would absolutely visit again. The whiskey on arrival was a lovely touch.
