Pros: Everything. Fiona was a very good hostess, pleasant, helpful and always ready to make sure we were happy. We'd love to be back. Adp

Cons: The room was too hot for me. Next time I'll be turning down the heating and opening the windows. Please note, however, that some people would be very happy at the cosy, warm temperature.

Highly recommend.

Pros: Beautiful building, with a welcoming, warm, comfortable and clean room. Great views. Good location. Easy parking. Dog friendly. Very nice breakfast

Quiet refreshing break.

Pros: Lovely room with gorgeous views from the balcony. Breakfast was amazing with super fresh produce. Enjoyed our time in jacuzzi too. This is exactly what we needed a quiet refreshing break. Thanks to Fiona for her excellent hosting.

Pros: Absolutely everything was perfect and we are very critical about places we stay. This place is a hidden gem. The host takes pride in bringing you into her property on arrival, during your stay and the breakfast to go. Its deffo the nicest place we have stayed in 25 years of going away at weekends. The facilities are 2nd to none, all private and spotless. The pool is a jewel on the crown addition to here 😃

Amazing stay

Pros: Great views, rooms were spacious and very clean. Host is lovely and makes an amazing breakfast which is included in your stay! Great facilities enjoyed using pool , hot tub and mini gym Plenty places within walking distance

Pros: Our hostess was delightful and very accommodating. Our room was very clean. Breakfast was delicious.

Cons: We found the room too hot. This does, however, seem to be an issue in many places. While the duvet and bed were comfy a much lower tog duvet would have been preferable.

Thornbank house a real gem

Pros: What's not to like from when we pulled into the drive we knew this place was going to be special Stunning property excellently maintained inside and out just spotlessly clean with beautiful decor throughout. Greeted at the door by the lovely Fiona who showed us round and made us feel very welcomed.Rooms were big but still had a real cosy feel with big comfortable beds fridge tea/coffee making station the bathroom again massive with shower and wait for it...your own jacuzzi bath The facilities here are on par with much bigger much pricier places we've stayed at and the pool hot tub and gym equipment was just superb and definitely needed especially after the breakfast we were served,absolutely top notch to the point we'd travel the 3 hours just to come back just for breakfast. Honestly can't wait to return such a chilled relaxed weekend that even the weather couldn't spoil

Cons: Looked for faults to make the review more plausible but really couldn't find any negatives what so ever
