Gem of a guest house

Pros: Lovely gem of a guest house. Very friendly helpful owner, very attentive and welcoming. Comfortable room with good facilities. Had to leave early for the ferry so unable to enjoy a full breakfast but the ‘cold’ breakfast was carefully laid out, variety was very good and ample.

Perfect wish we had stayed for more than 1 night first class

Pros: Everything ,could not fault anything perfect stay from booking in to leaving , great beds room spotless, 1st class breakfast plenty of choice and a nice touch with a wee dram before bed, good parking at the hotel

Pros: From the moment my sister and I arrived Elaine and Alan helped us upstairs to our room. We were gave the top room as I had asked for walk in shower. We found the room, bathroom and sitting room very clean and tidy. There was even a small fridge with fresh milk in and tea, coffee and sugar sachets sitting too along with a couple of Tunnock Tea cakes. Our beds were very comfortable and couldn't hear a sound so we slept really well. We ordered full breakfasts and it was all lovely and freshly cooked along with toast, tea and fresh coffee. There was also a choice of cereal too and yogurts, they catered for all. We will definitely book the Lakeview Guest house again.
