Perfect for a quiet get away

Pros: The property had a beautiful view and lovely gardens. I had a lovely welcome, with milk in the fridge, some delicious shortbread, tea, and other bits. Overall I was very comfy. I visited for work but there was a really nice booklet of places to go and things to do compiled that would be perfect if you needed inspiration.

A great place to stay with beautiful views.

Pros: The suite is cosy, comfortable, well equipped and extremely clean. We were welcomed warmly and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would certainly return in the future

Pros: Although only small it had everything we needed for a 3 day stay . Spotlessly clean and very nicely decorated . Appreciated the Welcome pack on arrival consisting of bread , tea, coffee , milk, fruit, breakfast cereal , fresh orange juice. There are limited cooking facilities ( a microwave and a kettle ) which was fine for us as we did not intend to do much in terms of self catering. The owners , Pat and bill live in the attached property and were on hand to meet and greet us and were keen to make sure everything was as expected.

Cons: There wasn’t anything to dislike about the property . A slightly bigger fridge would have been nice but it wasn’t a major issue .

An idyllic paradise in beautiful surroundings with lovely hosts.

Pros: The location is simply beautiful,lovely views over the farmland from the bedroom and house is situated in stunning alpine like grounds. There is a private garden for guests to relax in and deer, squirrels and rabbits are part of the gorgeous surroundings. It is an idyllic little paradise. The hosts Pat and Bill make the stay so welcoming. The accommodation is absolutely immaculate.

Pros: Host was very helpful and friendly, the place was immaculately clean and very homey, well equipped. Beautiful quiet location and relaxing garden.

Cons: Please note breakfast provided consists of cereals, fruit, yoghurt and orange juice, rather than a cooked breakfast which we mistakenly assumed. However it was pleasant and enough breakfast provided for the two nights' stay.

Amazing accommodation and hosts.

Pros: Our stay was amazing. All the little extras were thoroughly thoughtful and appreciated. Most unexpected but a very pleasant surprise. Could not want or expect more. Thank you for a lovely relaxing and stress-free stay.

Pros: An outstanding place to stay. Clean, comfortable and everything to hand. I’m very fussy about beds and this one was just perfect for me! Very friendly and hospitable. Lovely views too as well as beautiful countryside.

Fantastic stay in the countryside

Pros: The property was very clean and had everything you would need for self catering. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. They even left a breakfast pack for us for the next morning which was a very nice touch. Great value for money. Property is in a great location to explore Dumfries & Galloway area. Would highly recommend staying at this property, would come back again.

Pros: Spotless and fully equipped. Pat and Bill are perfect hosts. Lovely friendly welcome. We would highly recommend.

Cons: No negatives from our point of view. Maybe a little compact for some.
