Fantastic prices for stays of 4 weeks or more - ensuite double rooms -self-catering

Really nice house and room in a great location

Pros: Great room in a nice house. Had everything i needed for my stay

Cons: Could do with a hook for the towel in the bathroom

Very pleasant and relaxing

Pros: The property was great as we had the bottom floor room with easy access in and out. It had everything we needed inc kettle, biscuits, coffee/tea Toiletries, TV, WiFi etc. It may be a little tired but the bed was clean, comfy and the property had catering options and also a comfy lounge to sit in. Other guests that I met in the kitchen were nice.

Cons: I can’t fault our stay as the property had everything we needed.

Great place to stay for a short break.

Pros: Great location and value for money. Lovely old building. Only around 10 minutes walk to town centre. Hosts were very helpful and friendly. Really good sized room. Bed was comfortable. Good powerful shower. Big fluffy towels. Plenty of storage space for clothes. Lots of car parking spaces. I would definitely stay there again if visiting Dumfries.

Cons: WiFi was fairly good, but not a very strong signal. It kept dropping out on my tablet, but is was fine with my phone. I wasn't keen on the wetroom, but that's just a matter of preference. I would have preferred a shower cubicle.

Pros: Close to the town, very spacious, communication with the owner was excellent. beds very comfy and large bathroom Stayed here before and will definitely be back

Pros: A very comfortable room with good facilities & a simple check in procedure with friendly hosts. Also ample off road vehicle parking

Cons: The trains - nothing to do with the accommodation - were restricted on trains to get home and dumfries has poor train options on a Sunday to go home. This is not the fault of the accommodation.

Beautiful old hotel

Pros: The hotel is a lovely old building. it has good parking it was just up the road from pubs restaurants etc. The room size was not bad although it had a lot in it as in a wardrobe full set of drawers small sofa 2 tables at the side which to me was alot for a smaller space I know they have long term guest as well so I guess it wld suit if your staying is longer. The bathroom was a good size. I would definitely stay again if I was in the area

Cons: The only thing was the light in the bathroom wasn't good needs to be brighter very dull. Also the plug hole for the shower needs a bit attention we put bleach around it when we got there was just a bit mouldy but with it being a wet room it can happen.

Enjoyable Stay

Pros: Particularly enjoyed the location, the building itself is beautiful too. The hosts were very friendly and willing to help at any point via calling. The room was comfortable and had all the necessary necessities. Overall, a very enjoyable stay for a very last minute booking.

Pros: Excellent location and well supported check-in / explanation of facilities. Very comfortable and convenient all round.
