Simply an excellent and comfortable stay.

Pros: A really great find and perfect for a quiet stay. The fire in the hallway was a wonderful welcome on a cold December day, the rooms are really spacious and well furnished, the bathroom is fantastic with a lovely Roman bath style tap system and the breakfast was exceptional, especially the bacon and tatty scone!

Cons: Nothing. The unfinished building work at the side of the property is a bit off putting but completely understandable as they are extending the property. It will be fabulous as a conference centre when done.

Feels so homely. The dog was as equally welcome as we were. It’s quiet and welcoming.

Pros: It’s friendly and cozy. Staff are wonderful, food is excellent, rooms are clean and comfortable. The best breakfast and the menu for the evening is fantastic. It’s cooked to perfection. This was the second time we stayed there, and we will be back.
