We booked in at very short notice as the motorway was closed due to an accident

Pros: We only saw our room as we booked in at extremely short notice. We had a dog friendly room which was well equipped for doggy guests. The bed was comfy and the shower room clean.

A fantastic weekend. A big thank you to everyone at the Black Bull.

Pros: The Black Bull has no service for breakfast but there are a choice of highly recommended cafes to chose from. We booked a table for a meal. Booking is recommended as it is a really busy restaurant during the summer months. My partner gave the fish pie full marks and in all honesty, I had the tastiest lasagne I have ever eaten. On my birthday too. How appropriate.

Cons: The weather?? It was September after all.
