Just can’t thank the lady enough who stayed up late to let us in when we were delayed due to car charging difficulties

Pros: Quirky and central but most of all a wonderful warm welcome

Cons: Room was a bit small, especially the shower cubicle

Great location, lovely staff, good value.

Pros: The staff are friendly, and because they are also the hotel owners, they don’t need to ask anyone higher up for authorisation to help you out. The location is great, right on the historic High Street, with free parking and numerous shops and cafes around. The restaurant was closed for renovation when I was there but I’ve heard it is very good. The rooms had great lighting, for working, make-up and reading in bed. There were plenty of power sockets and everything was well thought out. I slept so well!

Cons: That I couldn’t stay longer!
