The staff go above and beyond the room’s spacious and comfortable highly recommended The Horizon

Pros: The rooms were spotless and very comfortable everything was provided

Cons: We loved the property and location was fantastic

Pros: We lived the closeness to our venue and think the Horizon is a cosy hotel.

Cons: Parking within the hotel was scattered and cars were taking up 2 spaces however we did get into the free car park across the road.

Relaxing quiet hotel with nice staff and very clean

Pros: Great welcome on arrival from reception. Clean room basic but clean. The staff all friendly and remember us from our previous stay. We ate in the restaurant every night as the food is delicious thanks to great chefs. We also had continental breakfast daily good choice. My 5 days at the hotel were great. I will definitely be back again.

Lovely stay would stay again in different room upstairs.

Pros: Dinner at hotel was lovely as was the breakfast. Good value.

Cons: Bathroom could have been larger but was adequate. There was some noise during the night from other guests.

Cons: The bathroom, shower, and deco could really do with a revamp.

Pros: Staff were excellent reception and bar and restaurant excellent service was brilliant

Cons: Everyone in hotel including other guests were excellent

Being close to the beach was fantastic.

Pros: Close to the beach and amenities. Bar staff excellent, along with the cleaning staff.

Cons: Having to eat in the reception as we had a small dog. Having to pay £15 a night extra for our wee dog (which in our opinion was extortionate). No music/television in reception area. Being told to move breakfast table by a member of staff in an abrupt manner, then giving the table to another couple with a dog. Paying extra for our dog and having to sit in reception area and being made to feel an inconvenience . Head waitress at breakfast was snotty (up herself) in my opinion.

Pros: The staff are lovely and helpful breakfast great rooms comfortable.

Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Pros: The food in this hotel is absolutely outstanding. I had the best 3 courses of my life. The chef deserves high praise. Cannot recommend the food enough. I can't stop thinking about it. 1 million out of 10.
