Beautiful stay at Goody Bridge Barn

Pros: Beautiful stay at Goody Bridge Barn! Ideal location just up the road a short walk from Grasmere, very peaceful. Beautiful cottage and very comfortable beds. Gorgeous views of the fells from the patio. Great it is dog friendly. Perfect base for hiking and trail running! Of course a trip to Apple Pie Bakery is a must

Lovely cottage just a few things I’d change.

Pros: Lovely looking cottage - not the Barn as picture. Nice gardens they are communal, but pretty. Enough room for one or two people in the cottage. Nice all on one floor and detached. Lovely views.

Cons: The bedroom was colder than any other room and felt a bit damp. Thin duvet. Didn’t look forward to sleeping in there. The sofas could do with a clean. Slight damp smell at times in the cottage bedroom. Also didn’t like black curtains/rug. Could do with a blind in the kitchen look straight across into the farmhouse window/other people. Otherwise would be lovely/perfect.

Almost don’t want to review as want to keep this gem to myself!! Perfect Stay

Pros: So refreshing to have such a good property so well situated, so comfortable, so well equipped, as described in fact better than description & unbelievable value for money. A really gem.
