Lovely!

Pros: Fantastic breakfast and great location. The lounge was lovely to spend time in at the end of the day, and the host kindly made it extra cosy by lighting the fire.

Cons: The rooms themselves weren't quite as welcoming as they could be; in terms of decor. But they did the job, and we were comfortable.

Pros: Stayed two nights,Friendly host. Clean,parking, good breakfast

Cons: Not an issue with establishment but we were there for a wedding and impossible to get taxis especially in evening.

Lovely place, ideal location

Pros: Location was brilliant, just a short walk into Keswick, and the breakfast was lovely

Cons: The mattress was too hard for both of us unfortunately, so didn’t get as good a sleep as hoped

Nice place. I would stay again if I needed to.

Pros: Good location, plenty of parking, fast wi-fi, very clean, comfortable lounge

Cons: The mattress on the bed was joined in the middle instead of being one complete mattress. The centre join was uncomfortable. Plus breakfast timing was very inflexible. Starting at 08.30 is too late. No porridge...??

Pros: I didn't have breakfast cos I was leaving before it was available both days

Cons: Nothing, it was great, very good parking! I might have had breakfast if I was later l3aving or if it started earlier

Fabulous Guest House

Pros: Room was perfect, lots of attention to detail with thoughtful touches to make our stay fantastic. Andrew cooks a lovely breakfast too. Powe House is in a great location for Keswick Town Centre, and Derwentwater and a perfect base for exploring the area. This is my first trip to the Lake District and I had a really lovely time.
