Felt like a home from home, even though it was a short stay.

Pros: Welcoming and friendly hosts who went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and prepared for our days out. Spacious, beautiful & tasteful decor with local art. Sitting room with the opportunity to sit by the fire. A wonderful, animal-friendly place to stay. And delicious breakfasts!

Cons: Can’t think of anything!

5* place and people - fella like home when I walked in.

Pros: Brilliant stay. Warm feel, welcoming feel, comfortable bed, hot shower after long walks, amazing breakfasts cooked to order, tea on tap and homemade cake, lovely Pepper the B&B dog and Caroline & Clive are such brilliant hosts - friendly, knowledgeable and happy to help from routes to walk, to pubs and places to eat. Add on to all that and it was brilliant value for money …!

Cons: There is nothing I could find to fault a brilliant place and stay.

Excellent B&B with wonderful hosts

Pros: Clive and Caroline are wonderful hosts. Their property is comfortable very clean and we had a lovely view of the lake. There are so many fantastic walks to do in the local area and the breakfasts are fantastic. We would highly recommend this property.

Pros: Wonderful couple of people. They were open, friendly, and took to Belle's (the beagle) need for space of her own magnificently. When asked for milk or extra coffee, they were happy to assist and nothing asked of them seemed too much. Will certainly check in again.

Pros: The owners can't do enough for you. Gorgeous, quirky deco, everything you could possibly need in the room. Breakfast was delicious. Super friendly and a lovely stay

Wonderful peaceful house and amazing hosts.

Pros: We loved everything about this property.We had everything we could have possibly needed,including chilled water and milk in the fridge on the landing.Clive and Caroline were amazing hosts,very chatty and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.We would definitely stay there again.
