Pros: The views where stunning and it was home from home

Pros: We loved the stunning location, and absolutely everything about the property. Very spacious, lovely furnishings and modern facilities. Fully equipped, warm, comfortable and very homely.

Cons: Nothing. It was perfect.

Pros: Great flat in amazing location with stunning views over towards Catbells. Very quiet. Very well equipped and felt like a very generous space, cosy in the evenings, too. Host David very helpful. We felt very welcome.

Cons: Nothing to note. We'll definitely come again.

Pros: The scenic views from the property were fantastic. The property was lovely and cosy.

Cons: There were very noisy people staying in the upstairs apartments. They were constantly stomping around every night until the early hours which disrupted our sleep and if we did manage to sleep the noise woke us up in the early hours of the morning. This is not what you need on holiday as we came to relax in what should have been a peaceful tranquil location!

Wonderful stay with the family - Will return.

Pros: Clean, spacious house with walks from the doorstep (as described) and the mountain views were breathtaking.

Cons: Just a few minor suggestions: The sofas were a bit old and worth replacing. Kitchen foil, cling film etc would be helpful. I took my own and left them for the next guests.

Pros: The views were fantastic. Nearby walks were very good. The accommodation was very spacious, and we enjoyed and made use of the balcony. The gardens were well kept, and the location was great. We also saw a barn owl that lives locally. It was great to be amongst nature.

Cons: We loved everything about Stoneyacre.

Great location, high standard of accommodation, clean, comfortable and good value for money.

Pros: Everything. The location and views were amazing. The house was immaculate, clean and had everything to make our stay comfortable and homely. The ‘hosts/proprietors’ have made every effort to make sure their visitors are taken care of and have a memorable holiday in excellent surroundings.

Would definately stay here again we had a really lovely time. Keswick only a few minutes drive.

Pros: The location is excellent with beautiful views of the mountains, Latrigg and Skiddaw, to name two. Accommodation was a really good size, we self catered without any problem.

Cons: Couldn't access the films but this was no big deal. The drive to Buttermere via Newlands Pass in a small vehicle, was scary! My daughter drove for me coming home from Buttermere via Honistor Pass which although tricky was far better than Newlands.

A beautiful house in a beautiful place.

Pros: A superb location with beautiful views in all directions, and set in a pretty garden. The property itself was spacious, clean and had very high we needed for a four day stay.

Pros: Amazing location in the Newlands valley. Very spacious and well equipped accommodation. Clean and comfortable.

Cons: We couldn't get the fire to work.
