Quiet, clean, comfortable, convenient and caring staff.

Pros: The staff very friendly and welcoming and serves great breakfast with a great smile.

Cons: The sink in my bathroom was a bit too small to have a comfortable wash, shave etc.

Amazing and friendly

Pros: Wendy and Kyle were amazing and gave us some great advise about the island and where to go. Very friendly too. The room was great and very clean and breakfast was amazing. Highly recommended.

Cons: Absolutely nothing we didn't like at all. Everything was great and amazing.

Pros: We had a brilliant 3 night stay at this warm and welcoming B&B run by Wendy and her family. We were in room 6, a roomy twin room where the beds were converted to a king-sized bed. The bed was super comfy and the room was generally quiet for a decent night's sleep. The room has a sofa, kettle, tea/coffee, towels, and hairdryer. Iron was available on request. Shower was very powerful. The breakfast was tasty and freshly cooked each morning by Wendy, the owner, with egg, bacon, sausage, tomato, toast and beans, hot drinks as well as juice, yoghurt and cereal. The location is quiet and clean, perfect as we didn't want to be on the promenade but close enough to walk to central Douglas in under 10mins. Wendy is such a wonderful and friendly host, providing lots of useful info and just lovely to chat to. We would definitely stay again next time we're back as it was great value and we like to support independent and family run businesses.

Cons: Not the fault of Ashfield, as we understand why breakfast service needs to be in a time limit...we just found it difficult to get to breakfast before 9am being slightly later risers.

Pros: Really nice friendly owners. Stayed uo late when I was held up on checking in until 11.30pm. Beds sooo comfy. Rooom perfect, clean, plenty of space and draws and wardrobe. En suite amazing. Shower hot and powerful. Breakfast was awesome. Definitely recommend do anyone and everyone!!

Exceptional

Pros: Wendy and Kyle were exceptional hosts. They went out of their way to help me when I was lost getting there late at night. They showed unbelievable kindness helping me in every way they could. Cannot recommend highly enough. Already planning my next trip there

An excellent stay at the Ashfield

Pros: A really cosy family run guest house in a quiet street, just a 5-10 minute walk to the promenade. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom had a modern quality shower. The owners are super friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have a nice stay with them. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Cons: I didn't dislike anything to be honest.
