Our kind of place

Pros: The cottage was warm and cosy and had fabulous views. It was well-equipped and had everything we needed for a three night stay. As it was October, it wasn't warm enough to eat on the patio which has a view across Derwentwater but, we did manage a pre-dinner drink out there. It's a great place for walkers - lots of walks right out of the door, but a long way to the pub😊

Pros: Such a lovely cottage with everything we needed for a few days of walking in the lakes. A great, quiet location part way along the path up Cat Bells; Keswick is nearby for supplies, and the view over Derwentwater to Blencathra is amazing while enjoying morning coffee! Xia is a helpful and accommodating host - thank you for having us :)
