Perfect stay (especially if on top floor)
Pros: Really large room, clean and tidy. Great bed, lovely breakfast, great staff.
Cons: I was below another guest who, because the floors are old (I guess) woke me up every night at 2/3am walking around.

Pros: Room was really spacious. Beautiful. Massive bed! Really nice!
Cons: No one came the following day to empty bins, refill the coffee/tea we used, nor to put clean towels, so we had nothing to drink in the morning. The kettle didn't switch off. It became extremely hot and was leaking so we swapped it with the one in the resident's lounge. There were no sweetner available in the room or restaurant. I am diabetic so I couldn't use the sugar that was provided.

Pleasant
Pros: The location was perfect, the bus stop was at the bottom of the road, I had a pleasant stay here and I would go back, the staff were very helpful. I also felt safe as a female solo traveller.
Cons: Telly is not the best for stations, it would be more helpful for guests to know what channels ARE available.

Good location, comfortable bed, friendly staff and great breakfast. What more do you need?!
Pros: Good location in Douglas as it is close to the promenade for walks. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were very good at the HQ bar and restaurant. Comfortable room and very clean.
Cons: I did not have any trouble parking on the streets but this may be difficult in busy periods.

If travelling by public transport and without any mobility issues definitely recommended.
Pros: Ideal location roughly half way along Douglas Promenade with a bus stop for routes to most parts of the island within 100 Yards and electric tramway to the north of the island within half a mile. Cooked breakfast was excellent, sometimes buffet, sometimes waiter service apparently depending on number of guests. On one occasion when the room was not serviced the staff apologised immediately and made sure I had plenty of tea bags and milk for the rest of the stay.
Cons: Breakfast was not served until 0800, half an hour earlier would have been better. Although this did not affect me the split site, hillside location, steep steps and lack of a lift would not make this a great property for elderly or disabled guests and if travelling by private car parking in the vicinity could be a problem.
