Like visiting a friend!

Pros: Located at the end of the long drive and on a secluded piece of land. The owner and host of the property has created a feel of cosiness like coming to visit a friend. We were offered a different room than the one we previously booked with a gorgeous view onto the garden. Fires were burning in the fireplaces in the ample lounge. The dining room was set with individual tables and drinks were served before dinner at 7 pm which reinforces the feeling of visiting a friend.

Friendly, welcoming, comfortable s as nd beautiful food

Pros: Beautiful location, quiet and relaxed Really Lovely house and garden. Lots of places to sit and relax. Very very comfortable bed! Angus the host was extremely friendly and welcoming. Also a wonderful chef. We had wonderful food served to us and great selection of drinks.

Beautiful break in the Scottish countryside with delicious food, lovely views and great hotel owner

Pros: The breakfast to start each day was delicious and with a beautiful view of the gardens. The hosipitality from the owner and all the staff could not have been better. Each evening we finished our days with beautiful drinks outside on the terrace and a delicious 3 course dinner after. Highly recommend staying here to get a nice break in the Scottish countryside.

A true Country House hotel - homely and very comfortable.

Pros: Hotel set in a lovely tranquil lawned garden which could be accessed from the patio area out of the drawing room. The bedroom we had overlooked the garden and was wonderfully quiet. We had the windows open and enjoyed the fresh county air and birdsong. The bedroom was large, the bed extremely comfortable and made up in crisp white bedlinen. The bathroom was also large and functioned well though it looked a little dated. Breakfast and Dinner were both delicious, good portions and all the food was thoughtfully prepared and well cooked. A nice selection of local cheeses too. Wine selection very good and a large selection of drink at the bar area. We were very well looked after and enjoyed the elegant furnishings and surroundings of the hotel. A treat to stay somewhere so relaxing and peaceful.

Pros: Brilliant location and peaceful atmosphere. Relaxing property to be in. A lovely well appointed room. Food was excellent. Host was very welcoming

Pros: Yksilöllinen, kodikas, siisti vierastalo. Tarjoilu ja erikoisruokavalion huomiointi olivat kympin arvoisia. Illallinen oli ammattimaisesti räätälöity kokonaisuus. Viihtyisässä olohuoneessa tarjoiltiin aperitiivi ennen illallista. Majoituspaikka on sopivan pieni ja hälytön. Maalaisrauhaa ja aitoa skotlantilaista tunnelmaa. Huone oli tilava ja maisema ikkunasta upea.

Cons: Kylpyhuoneessa olisi voinut olla naulakko pyyhkeelle ja aamutakille.
