Waverley Suite No57 - Donnini Apartments

Good location, spacious and comfy

Pros: The location was perfect. The property has lots of space and had everything we needed for our stay. Contactless key collection was easy and clear instructions were provided. Staff did contact to check all was ok by call and text. The beds were very comfy. It is located on the ground floor and parking was easy to find.

Cons: The kitchen could have been cleaner for our arrival. There were still marks on the worktop surfaces and cooker top. It wasn’t a problem for me but might be an issue for some. It was not explained in the listing that they charge a damages wavier of £30 or deposit of £300 before you can collect the keys. Again not a problem for me as we were out most of the time but the TV is not great. We thought the remote didn’t work but it did but was just very slow to respond.

Pros: Very modern, bright and roomy apartment Very close to local places, pubs, clubs, bowling complex Would book again no problem

Pros: The apartment was nice and clean. There were towels and shampoos. Overall, our stay was good.

Cons: The windows were dirty, there was a dirty grill and utensils, maybe because there was no preparation and cleaning sponge. One sofa in the living room was pushed under the fabric, but you have to sit to feel it. Need another two chairs.

Great location and very clean apartment.

Pros: The location of the property was fantastic. Our little boy loved watching the boats and the vehicles in the port. We were walking distance to the beach and the town. The apartment was on the ground floor with no neighbours, which was fantastic. The apartment was nice and big. The sheets and duvets were good quality and comfortable.

Cons: It definitely needs a lick of paint. The kitchen needs a bit more equipment if you were staying for a long time. There is only one bathroom, no en suite or separate toilet so if there were lots of people staying this could be problematic. There was only one key. The apartment was very ‘vanilla’ and has no real style about it. The blinds let in far too much light and would be problematic during the bright summer nights.

Would stay again, good sleep. Plenty going on outside. Close to amenities and beach.

Pros: Excellent location. All windows looked onto the harbour. Waverley Steamer parked outside window. Rowing club also having a workout. Our lucky day. Great view.

Cons: Dodgy bathroom door handle. Chipped paint at bedroom door handle. Small things but noticeable.

Enjoyed my stay

Pros: Location met all our needs. Small shop which comes in handy and sea views added bonus

Cons: Living area a little cleaner, ie window ledge behind couch had dirt on it. Couches a bit uncomfortable.
