Pleasant hotel in a stunning location with charming staff.

Pros: Excellent views, lovely staff, very clean room, with comfortable bed and a great bath. Breakfast was really good as well. Lots of space to sit in the lounge.

Cons: It was a tiny bit cold in the room and common areas. Also, the room needed a long mirror, conditioner and body lotion!

It was my girlfriend’s birthday which we were combing with a hike the next day.

Pros: What’s not to like about the Grand, we were made very welcome, the staff were superb, nothing was any trouble. The food was excellent, the room was excellent and overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and are returning next month. Highly recommend.

A good opportunity for catching up with family, in comfort.

Pros: A really enjoyable stay, upgraded room. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, hot, plenty of choices. All freshly prepared.

Wonderful, would stay here again!

Pros: Breakfast options were delicious, great quality food. The cosy double room had a wonderful view and more than enough space with plenty of storage. The boot room was a welcomed addition.

Lovely stay again

Pros: Stayed here many times, Fantastic location, lovely rooms , friendly staff, good breakfast although slightly lacking in vegetarian options. Boot room is a great addition but thankfully not needed this weekend

Cons: Rooms need a little extra TLC, the lack of attention detail is starting to show ...bathroom ceiling had mould spots, I realise this is due to the shower but needs wiping regularly and can be avoided. Carpets are a little frayed in places....but generally very nice.
