Pros: The room was spotless, the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, the breakfast was delicious

Cons: Through no fault of the hotel we were unable to use it to its full potential, purely because we arrived much later than expected and had to leave early

It was ok but the heating was NOT GOOD disappointed ☹️

Pros: Breakfast was very good and the one meal at dinner time was good

Cons: We were there for New Year the bedroom heating was practically NONE existent we booked 4 nights but went home after 2 nights because of the heating to cold we won’t be returning

Pros: The staff were amazing. We checked in as a large group of 20 and they couldn’t do enough for us. Check in was smooth, rooms clean and comfy. Breakfast and dinner were 10/10. Great stay over the New Year!

Great value for money, Fabulous staff!

Pros: We have just returned home after a 4 night stay. All the staff we had any dealings with were pleasant in manner and couldn’t do enough for us. We were staying with our 2 dogs who were made welcome and we were always offered a bowl of water for them whilst in the bar. We were always attended to quickly and ate in the hotel bar each evening. The bar could be quite lively but it was the Christmas period and everybody was really friendly. Wd stayed up on the second floor so we were away from any noise if we went to bed early. We never had to wait long for the food to arrive and what we had was served hot & was enjoyable. Room was clean & comfortable and great value for money in my opinion. We had a lovely coastal walk from Kippford through Rockcliffe & along to Sandyhills one day and had walks in Dalbeattie Town Wood. All in all a great stay.

Cons: Set on main road & no parking but free parking a short distance away, wd pulled up outside to load & unload.

Pros: Our Men stayed here whilst working in the area, was perfect for them, clean, comfortable and lovely food, would definitely recommend if visiting the area.
