A very nice experience we would be very happy to revisit.

Pros: The peaceful scenic location, a very well equipt cosy cottage, a very helpful host, the wildlife and local shops and facilites.

Cons: Everything was to our liking

Easter break in Dumfries and Galloway

Pros: 2nd stay at Field cottage, this time for Easter. Enjoyed the peaceful location and sitting outside in the sunny warm weather. One of the best cottages that we have stayed at.

Comfortable, perfect for a family as very homely

Pros: Location was quite, on a farm with sheep, birds too and a couple of black bulls too.

Cons: My little car struggled going down the track to the cottage, better with a 4 by 4

A wee Retreat from the modern world

Pros: The location was quiet and peaceful, yet only 5 mins from shops and facilities. The cottage was quaint and homely, a pleasant flashback to childhood memories of another era, with addition of a modern kitchen.
