Exceptional quality service

Pros: The staff could not do enough for you, nothing was to much trouble, always polite, friendly and professional, the hotel was excellent, my wife is hard of walking and needs easy access which the staff / management made for her, and adviced the room to have the next time we come, which we will as this is the place for us when visiting friends

Cons: Nothing, everything was great for us, the menus for breakfast, snacks and dinner were great, the delivery was even better, its the many extra little touches that make it all so good example breakfast menu has things to do today, the expected weather, tides etc, great thought goes into the well being of the customer, on the last day I invited a friend to join us for breakfast before we left for the long drive home, nothing was a problem.... This is quality service, thank you very much

Friendly cosy hotel, lovely town 🥰

Pros: Lovely overnight stay visiting family, cosy atmosphere, delightful staff, so friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend 🥰

Cons: Hot water took a while to come through in the morning, maybe just a heads up to run the tap for a long time 🥰piping hot when it came through!!

Warm, comfy, cosy. Great welcome and great food.

Pros: Warm and cosy. Rooms nice, comfortable. Hotel is lovely. Bar abd resturant were excellent with variety of local produce alongside the Christmas menu.

Cons: Nothing - all was good.

Pros: The most amazing, excellent food, massive compliments to the chef. Fresh ingredients superbly cooked. Professional pleasant staff. Decor and ambience v good.

Cons: Room was a bit chilly, condensation on single glazed windows didn,t help, but fully appreviate this is an old property. Water pressure not v good, took ages to get hot water coming through. Also, cheeseboard andcreal ales a bit disappointing

Relaxing, friendly, most enjoyable stay. Will return.

Pros: The staff were exceptionally helpful and flexible. The food was lovely with lots of choices. It was quiet and very conveniently positioned in Kirkcudbright for exploring the area.

Cons: We were in single beds but duvets seemed to be double size. They tended to slide to the side because of their weight. I felt pinned down.
