Pros: Absolutely beautiful place, lovely host and great location

Cons: Nothing to dislike

This was either out 3rd or 4th stay at Lakeland Snug, excellent location, room and hosts. Will definitely be going back!

Pros: Perfect location just a short walk from the town centre. Very clean and had everything that we needed.

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: Fantastic Location, exceptionally clean, bed very comfortable, welcome pack of milk, water, tea, coffee, biscuits.

Cons: Could not fault this accommodation at all!

Pros: Excellent location friendly welcome good facilities A welcome bottle of wine would have been appreciated. All in all we had a really enjoyable stay.

Absolutely perfect, would highly recommend

Pros: A beautiful clean property. Heated flooring, the most comfortable bed I have slept in. Facilities were fantastic with sky tv and an Alexa speaker. Lovely extra touches of fresh water in the fridge as well as fresh milk. Host was very welcoming and accommodated our later arrival. A short 5minute walk in to the centre. Central to lots of hiking and scrambling routes. We loved it here.

5-star weekend getaway!

Pros: The property was in a perfect location, just a stones throw away from the town centre. Everything was so clean and the snug felt so cosy and homely. Paul, Christine and family were all so welcoming and very kind. We unfortunately had to cut our stay short because of an emergency back home. Paul was very understanding about this and made us feel much better. I would highly recommend the snug as a perfect getaway.

Wonderful little 'Snug'.

Pros: Appropriately named, the Snug was indeed lovely and warm and cosy - but very spacious. It had everything you needed for a short stay. Very well situated for a short walk into town and then on to the Lake. A Co-op nearby for provisions, including bacon rolls for breakfast! The bed was very comfy, great powerful shower. The room has a fridge and the host had left milk, water, tea, coffee etc. Table and chairs in the room plus two armchairs and outside seating. Very quiet and peaceful. Really couldn't fault our stay. Would recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Fantastic location perfect for our needs and own parking spot

A little Lakes home from home

Pros: Brilliant location with parking. The snug felt like the perfect spot for us for the local walks and heading into town. Paul was a great host and nothing was too much trouble. Loved that there was a fridge with fresh milk and water. Great that Sky was set up in the room so we can enjoy some movies too! Handy wardrobe space with hangers too.

Cons: Nothing to dislike just some shower gel for the bathroom would have been handy.
