Perfect room with attention to detail
Pros: We loved the room, which had all the appliances one could think of and more. The host was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of. He also gave as recommendations for restaurants and places to visit in the area
Cons: Everything was perfect

Highly Recommended
Pros: Tris and Cassie were perfect hosts, both very friendly and chatty. They made us feel welcome and valued guests. Our accommodation was great, good size room with pretty much everything you would ever need. Trust and Cassie have gone above and way beyond to provide for all your needs whilst staying with them. Overall, excellent location at a very competitive price. I would highly recommend Cornmill House and we will definitely be returning ourselves next year.

A charming village with excellent hosts.
Pros: Tris provided a wonderful array of self-serve breakfast foods including fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt coffee, tea, granola, etc. The room was cozy and clean. The shower was wonderful, and there were many things provided that a traveler might not have on hand. We had a great time reading through his guest book and even left our own little doodle! Tris was there to help with anything that might come up. By far, the best experience of our trip, and we'd happily stay again given the opportunity.
Cons: The only thing that was less than great was the humidity, but that certainly did not the fault of the property or hosts!

A wonderful break in a fantastic location.
Pros: A warm welcome from Triss upon arrival, Cornmill House with its enviable location right on the shore front overlooking Wigtown Bay has all you need to enjoy a stay at the property. The room is large enough to relax in with an extremely comfortable bed and an en-suite with an amazing shower! There are plenty of cereals, bread, milk, fruit, tea and coffee making facilities along with other items for you to make your own breakfast and / or an evening snack if you wish. A couple of minutes walk down the road leads you to the Harbour Inn which is a nice and cosy inn offering some great beers and although we didn't try it this time the restaurant was extremely busy. Overall it was a great two night stay in a very peaceful location. Would definitely return when we are back in the area.
