A warm, comfortable, quiet place to relax.

Pros: A lovely place; well-equipped, plenty of space, easy parking, separate laundry room with a tumble dryer which was useful, couple of pubs walking distance away and beach close by. Comfy bed and warm rooms.

Cons: Nothing, all good.

Beautiful place in a lovely area

4 Nights in St Bees.

Pros: Great location, very clean. Modern facilities. Warm and cosy to return to after walking in the hills and coastal paths. Previous reviews mentioned updating the conservatory, this has now been done with a beautiful new conservatory added. 2 pubs within walking distance, both excellent but only ate in ' The Manor'. Would return again, if we were in the area.

Relaxing

Pros: Lovely compact cottage in the middle of the village. Quiet, warm and plenty of light to read by.

Cons: We had a problem with the heating but the hosts were able to sort it by the next day. Some kitchen equipment was lacking ( eg paring knife, butter dish) but still adequate for our needs.

Pros: The milking parlour was very clean and ideal location for visiting family, bed very comfy

Cons: Not much privacy so had to put a coat over the kitchen window, shower floor very slippery

Enjoyable few days away

Pros: The location was superb, only 0.5 miles from the beach and we had a lovely meal out at one of the local restaurants. It is well equipped and everyone was super friendly. The bed was super comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay.

Cons: The only niggle was that the conservatory area isn't fully private. Blinds aren't available on all the windows and I like to relax with full privacy as I have a reactive pooch. Therefore, we rarely spent time in the conservatory which is the actual sitting area. A smart TV in the bedroom would've made this better.

Pros: Location perfect and the kitchen was so well equipped - literally everything you could want or need. And everything was so so clean.

Cons: Having to come home!

Pros: Property was of a great standard, and the owners were lovely.

Lovely stay at the milking parlour

Pros: The milking parlour is Very spacious and very clean. And is converted to a high standard.There was also a secured outdoor space for pets. We will definitely be back.

Cons: I would suggest full blinds on the conservatory as we did not use this space because we didn't feel it was private.

St Bees stay sept. 24

Pros: Loved the palour, had everything needed for a short stay. The location was lovely, great scenery and 10 min walk from beach.

Cons: Could hear water system in parlour from other accommodation.
