Great stay in Keswick

Pros: Really good location. Good facilities and garden. Comfortable sitting room and nicely sized property.

Cons: Bed was not very comfortable.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Pros: We spent a lovely 5 days here. Had a slight problem with a blocked outside drain maintenance came out straight away . Gilberts Warrant is a lovely house in a good location the only negative thing I would say is it need a lick of paint in some rooms.

Apart from the above our stay was nice we do spend our days out all the time and evenings

Pros: The property was nice, kitchen was fully stocked. The garden could have been tended a bit more cut back the trees and bushes and a bit of weeding

Cons: The bed on second floor was awful very uncomfortable to sleep in, there appears to be a chunk of wood holding it up underneath, maybe time for a new bed and the wardrobe could also be updated. And no slip mat inside the bath I found to be dangerous we are in our sixties and it was tricky trying not to slip and getting out also with the bath sides being so tall

Great cottage in a great location close to the high street and Fitz Park. House was well equipped worth got of wifi.

Pros: Good location. Plenty of space. Dog friendly. Very good WiFi. Kitchen well equipped.

Cons: Some beds quite small. Cold have had more towels and toilet roll.

A perfect location for this spacious 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house.

Pros: Gilbert’s Warrant is in a nice quiet street yet only 10 minutes walk from the town with many pubs and restaurants. A three minute walk to the large park area beside the river to walk the dog. As we were two couples it was lovely to have two bathrooms. The beds and settees were very comfortable. A lovely little outside area to sit in when the sun shines.

Cons: Nothing, though I would suggest a shaving mirror near the washbasin in the separate bathroom as the mirror cupboard is not above the sink.
