St Johns View

Great spot in central Keswick.

Pros: A well equipped flat with pretty much everything we needed for our stay, including some consumables. Location was perfect for our needs. Parking is a bonus in Keswick - even if a little inconvenient. Very spacious.

Cons: We were unable to use the oven. Firstly, all the symbols and markers have worn off over time and there was no instruction book to try and guess from. We did open the oven and we would not have used it anyway, it was filthy. We probably had a Queen the last time it had a good clean.

Great flat- would defo recommend

Pros: Great location and excellent facilities in the flat. The flat is massive! Car parking was sorted quickly by the host - ANPR in the 3 main car parks was a great feature and meant we din't need to worry about parking fees.

Cons: . Hidden away in one of the numerous emails sent by booking.com is the information that the premises are located in a doorway which houses the local shop (didn't see the instructions until too late!) Might have been easier to have a sign on the outer door saying access to flat 5 st john's view. Spent 5 mins wondering around number 5 St John's street! Had a few issues with the Boiler and no hot water.. Luckily YouTube provided the answers and I sorted quickly.

We enjoyed our stay and had fun in Keswick and surroundings

Pros: +Very conveneint location next to main street (town centre) +The size of the flat is good +All the white goods and tools available around the house are very helpful +Very close to the letting agency office +A mini-supermarket is located just on the ground floor below the flat as well as some cafes and restaurants

Cons: -Communal areas (hall, staircase and landing) should be better cleaned and mantained -It's at the first floor with no lift, so will need some effort to take your pushchair or pram to the flat

Great location and lovely apartment

Pros: Great apartment, very clean and location is perfect, short walk to the lake and close to shops and restaurants. We had a lovely stay.

Cons: Everything was great - would have preferred towels to be supplied but I totally understand why they are not - much easier for owers.

Prime Location, stunning views, very comfortable!

Pros: The location of the flat to the main street was amazing and some lovely restaurants were right on your door step! The commute to Derwentwater was only 15 minutes and was truly spectacular especially at sunrise and sunset!

Cons: The only little thing i can think of would be that when turning on the tap, running a bath or flushing the toilet the water ways made a loud almost grating noise that was quite unsettling especially during the night

Pros: Location, Nice Place to Stay, Very Clean,Nice that the owner registers you're Car for you're stay in 1 of the local pay & Display, Would return to this property

Excellent stay, everything Keswick has to offer on the doorstep. great location .

Pros: Great location, spacious, modern, comfy furniture/beds and overall clean and tidy. Great flooring to keep clean from muddy dogs and brilliant entrance area to store dirty wellies/leads etc. Shower was great, was not a trickle. Although located near the centre, noise outside was minimum, didn’t disturb us. Good location above a convenience shop too, bobbed down for a couple of essentials we forgot to pack.

Cons: Toilet flush was quite noisy, (Saniflow system, but didn’t realise at first, thought plumbing issues 😂), no blind in the bathroom, although it was patterned glass, would’ve felt more comfortable with a blind to pull down. Oven wasn’t cleaned.

Wonderful stay - the flat was cosy, well equipped, comfortable and quiet.

Pros: Excellent location. We were there for the film festival so very convenient for Alhambra and Theatre by the Lake

Cons: Outside lock to the shop entrance - we had difficulty opening the door when we arrived back after the shop had closed. We had to get help from the kind people at the cinema. There were no instructions about keys. When we called the out of hours support there was no immediate confirmation that the call had been received. They did get back to us though.

Pros: Couldnt fault lovely roomy ,warm apartment, comfy beds, straight underneath the premier food store which is run by lovely people, great for town, a really enjoyable stay and great place to be situated in. Keswick, will definitely come again

Cons: I really couldn't say there was anything g to dislike about it. I had a little struggle with kitchens taps, getting them turned back off again, be very careful when leaving this particular block of apartments, of the bottom step to the staircase leading out, I didnt see it and twisted my ankle, but that was my fault should have taken more notice, but just be aware and careful how you go with that
