Lovely little cottage

Pros: Lovely little cottage by the river, the location was perfect for us,

Cons: The single beds need changing, they are really uncomfortable, they are not good to sleep in. The double bed is really comfortable, though

Great relaxing holiday in a beautiful location

Pros: Location and the idyllic setting House was lovely and perfect for the dogs

Cons: No bbq which is unusual for a holiday rental Also the access down the drive is very tight as there are hidden stone walls and a drop on the other side, my 3 series just squeezed through. Wi-Fi and to signal wasn’t great but that’s to be expected in the lakes. I’m 6ft 3 and couldn’t fit under the shower head, maybe add an adjustable pole?

Short stay at the Riverside cottage

Pros: The location was perfect, had everything we needed for the two of us and a dog. The host provides great little touches like soap and a sponge for dishes, I saw a hairdryer even though I brought my own, small bottles of shampoo and shower gel that we didn't use, a fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, kettle, and toaster. TV was great for us after we came back from our hikes. The bath was highly appreciated to soothe the aches, with the window open you can hear the river, just perfect. Did take us a couple minutes to find the right cottage, it's just down the short hill when you get to the lane. Outstanding property and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Cons: Nothing about the cottage or the host, but the staff who reply to the emails are a bit slow, I think from cottages.com? and when I asked if there was certain things they said no, but the host had those things at the property.

Pros: The cottage is in a wonderful location. It was so comfortable and felt like a home from home. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever stayed in.

Cons: It would have been nice to know that washing up liquid, washing sponges, bin bags, teatowels, etc, were already at the cottage.
