An absolute little gem, with a touch of luxury!

Pros: The cottage was cosy, clean, lovely location situated in a quiet hamlet with a local pub. Perfect for accessing all of the northern fells, 20 minute drive to Keswick, and surrounding fells. The cottage was dog friendly, however no sign of dogs! we took our little dog Nancy who loved the garden and the hot water boot/ dog shower was ideal. We were a group of four and it was spacious, the bathroom and beds were luxurious!! The kitchen was very well equipped and beautifully decorated. The personal touches (welcome card and the offer of milk and eggs from the local farm were very kind) and the tea and coffee selection were lovely. Log fire and supply of logs was great. We didn’t want to leave! we’ll stay for a week next time.

Beautiful cottage in a great location. Quality at every touch point and plenty of charm. Perfect location too.

Pros: This cottage was amazing. The best we've stayed in and we've stayed in lots. The fittings, quality at every touch point, the location was fantastic for exploring the lakes. Lovely tranquil and peaceful village location. Cannot recommend this accommodation enough. Easy check in, and check out. The fire, bedding was great and kingsize, classy recently refurbed and also modern with the perfect balance of charm too.

Cons: Nothing not to like.
