Stunning secluded and private location - Fabulous!

Pros: The location is stunning and convenient for the Western Lakes. Loweswater is 4 miles away and Buttermere and Crummock water about 5 miles. Chalet gets warm during the day when the sun is out but cools nicely in the evening.

Cons: Minor points really a larger bread knife, and egg cups for boiled eggs. One of the electric sockets in the kitchen area wasn’t working so we thought the toaster wasn’t working and couldn’t make toast for the first morning.
