Perfect Lakeland getaway home-from-home for those who appreciate humble yet comfortable.

Pros: A delightful terraced cottage in a quiet area away from the Cumbria tourist honeypots but with lots of lovely countryside nearby to explore and a modest drive from the coast. Cottage has been recently renovated with real care. Very cosy. Appreciate the refreshments left for arrival. Parking on street was easy.

Cons: We had no problem at all, but anyone infirm who has difficulty with steep stairs in older traditional houses — this property would not be ideal for you.
