Lovely location, cosy cottage, clean and comfortable. Great!

Pros: The location, the ambience, the cleanliness overall. The comfortable beds and sofas. The lovely and well equipped kitchen. Loved coming back after a day out to relax in the super location and cosy comfort!

Cons: The parking was difficult but okay. The shower curtain and the bath both need replaced. The duvet and cover on the double bed was thin and cold to sleep in. Luckily I packed a blanket in case!

Braithwaite break

Pros: This is a really comfy cottage of a good size. The location is just fantastic. Lovely village and the cottage is right in the heart of it.

Cons: The cottage suited our needs for the weekend perfectly. Just the shower was a little awkward but had no impact on our weekend.

Pros: Great well equipped place in a very good location for North Lakes. Everything as advertised. Lovely place for a short break at a good price. Happily recommend it.

Cons: Bath needs re-enamelling or replacing. Area around front door/parking space needs half a ton of new gravel and a bit of attention as it lets the place down a bit.

Nice cottage in great location

Pros: The location, kitchen well equipped, it was very clean.

Cons: A little bit dated, lumpy double bed and the temp was not consistent on the shower making it unusable. If these could be sorted it would be great.

Warm and cosy location for walks into the mountains.

Pros: Perfect location at the heart of Brathwaite and all facilities needed were provided. Ideal for a weekend break.

Pros: We liked the location, the cottage was clean and warm, it had everything we needed for a lovely three night stay

Cons: Bathroom needs updating and shower was poor

A very comfy cottage in a quiet village only two miles from Keswick. Great hill walks very close by.

Pros: It was clean and tidy. The living room was spacious. The kitchen was very well equiped. The heating/hot water was easy to work and there is a good shower. Tye cottage is right in the middle of the village, with the village across the road. We didn't hear a sound from the neighbours all weekend. There is off road parking at the cottage. The mattress sounded like it was an old sprung one, but it was comfortable and supportive.

Cons: With the table for six in the kitchen, it is a little bit cramped, but this was a very minor problem.

Pros: In an excellent location with great bus links to explore lakes. The cottage has everything needed for a comfortable welcome after a day walking. If you don’t fancy cooking breakfast Daphne in the little shop knocks up a wonderful bacon sandwich x
