Lovely stay, lovely cottage, lovely village

Pros: Lovely village location close to a nice pub and next door to the village shop. Comfy cottage with fabulous views from twin room.

Cons: Shame the wood burner didn't work.

Pros: The cottage was well equipped and very comfortable. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. We visited the nearby town of Keswick and went to the theatre. There is a good bus service and friendly pub in Braithwaite. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return

Cons: 4pm check-in time seemed quite late, and 10 am check out very early, which meant we almost lost a day at the cottage. I have a mobility problem and would have liked a handrail on the stairs, which I found difficult to climb.

Peaceful and comfortable stay.

Pros: Well equipped kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Fun games to play. Conveniently located next to a great little shop and tea room.

Cons: We were never able to talk to anyone at the property despite calling all the numbers provided. We happened to see the rental company’s office and stopped in to get our question answered. Very friendly support once we connected.
