An excellent guest house and well located .

Pros: The breakfast was excellent. A great selection and cooked to order. The room was clean and had every we needed. Lovely home made shortbread and fresh milk for the tea.

Wonderful stay at The Beaches

Pros: Lovely comfortable sleep in a cosy room. Felt very clean and had everything we needed. Perfect location for walks along the beach with a helpful and knowledgeable host.

Lovely stay. Comfortable spacious warm room. Fantastic location for what we needed.

Pros: The owner Jan was very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Nice touch in the room was the homemade shortbread which was demolished!!!

Lovely little guesthouse near the sea.

Pros: The host was friendly and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was amazing (and big). The choice of breakfast was fantastic from the fruit pots to the home made jam to the cooked breakfasts. The location was brilliant as it was really close to the sea front which is what I wanted. Despite the weather, we had an amazing time.

Cons: The bathroom we had was a little small but it didn't bother us that much. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Jan keeps an immaculate, lovely home to share.

Pros: Jan keeps a lovely home and its is presented beautifully. The bedroom was clean and very comfortable. Everything you would want in the room, including fresh milk in the fridge and home made shortbread. Breakfast was amazing, great selection and very traditionally Scottish. Jan is a real gem, very chatty and engaging. It was a real pleasure to share her home.

Gorgeous property, very homely with everything you could possibly need.

Pros: Everything - a stunning property with every convenience. Beautifully decorated with attention to detail. Toiletries were lush. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Shortbread was the best I’ve tasted! Jan is just lovely. Delighted to have received an upgrade. I can’t wait to go back!
