Savoy Park Hotel

Lovely stay in a beautiful hotel

Pros: Beautiful Hotel, nice helpful staff, Lovely clean big room.

Cons: it said food served until 8pm or something similar but when we went down for dinner there was no food being served, so we opted to drive 5 mins away found plenty of places to eat + enjoyed the place we chose + the food.

Lovely overnight stay in Ayr

Pros: Lovely cooked to order breakfast,comfortable room,close to town centre,free parking on site,helpful friendly staff.Unfortunately this was the last night the hotel was open as closed on 1st December for refurbishment with sister hotel Savoy 5 across the road now taking bookings.

Warm friendly professional staff

Pros: Although the hotel was closing the next day we were treated very well very comfortable and the food was lovely would definitely recommend

Cons: Bit dark in the corridors my husband is disabled so was a bit difficult for him.

Breakfast amazing staff lovely.

Pros: Breakfast was amazing cooked to perfection and quality products used.

Cons: The room could have been cleaned better there was crumbs on the window seat on arrival.

Perfect hotel!

Pros: We love Savoy park as it's so comfortable in every aspect. The staff are amazing, the rooms well equipped and the beds are so good, you're guaranteed a good night sleep. We first stayed at the hotel when friends got married there and after being so impressed with the venue we've always stayed there when visiting. On the latest visit the cooked breakfast was exceptional. We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Beautiful, Charming get away

Pros: The charm of the place lovely listed building. Absolutely loved the window seat which meant I could sit on an evening and read. Staff were very helpful. Domestic staff went out of their way to talk to you. Will definitely be back.

Cons: The only draw back was i was on the 2nd floor and there was no lift and the 2nd flight of stairs were steep.

Pros: Reception were really nice and helpful.....room was lovely...very clean tidy ...breakfast was good a great selection of food ...staff made us very welcome...bar area was lovely and cosy

Cons: The only very slight thing I felt would have been helping having a shelf in the shower room to put shower gel and shampoo on

Great old style hotel, shame about deep fried breakfast

Pros: Old fashioned hotel, clean on first appearance, but looks closer and it could be better. We arrived at 2pm, the smell of cooking oils was coming out of the kitchen as you went up the stairs from reception, not the best greeting.

Cons: The breakfast was great, everything was roasting hot, the only thing was the amount of oil that it had been cooked in was visible on the plate. Black pudding, haggis and bacon are better grilled, sausage and mushrooms don't need to be deep fried. It all tasted good but would have been excellent had they not been soaked in oil.

Hotel full of Characters!

Pros: The room I had was very spacious and very comfortable.and full of character.

Cons: The corner bath in the bathroom was too small for anyone.

Pros: The staff were very helful and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was great. Although the hotel is very shabby and is to be refurbished, the room was clean, comfortable and a reasonable rate.

Cons: The hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment and the bathroom in the room was tiny.
