Well worth a stay

Pros: On arrival I was greeted by the owners, who were pleasant and engaging for all my 3 night stay. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. (Slept very well) En-suite bright and clean, the shower was hot and powerful. Selected a time for breakfast that was suitable for me. The range of items for breakfast will set anyone up for the day.

Cons: Nothing, the owners have a plan and it works.

All in all a very nice and friendly place to stay.

Pros: Friendly proprietor and staff. The 2 rooms we had were clean and tidy. Very nice views from the rooms. They were quiet. The choice of things for breakfast were very good and set us up for most of the day. There were gardens with picnic tables leading down to small river which was picturesque. Lots of walks and boaty things to do just a short drive away.

Cons: Cannot think of anything.

Pros: The proprietors were so welcoming and created a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Great location (our room overlooked a wooded backwater next to Ullswater) and the accommodation mixed original tradition with a decent modern bathroom. The breakfast was top quality (sensibly sized).

A perfect last minute staycation trip - ideal location, cosy interior, good food and drink options.

Pros: Lovely cosy b&b in a perfect location. Good choice for breakfast with cooked and yoghurt/cereal options on the menu as well as plenty of homemade jams to try. Food available to purchase at the b&b as well as meal deals for walkers. Comfy lounge area with games and books. Gorgeous outdoor area with a bar next to the river.
