Pros: We recently stayed at the Allerdale Guest House for four nights and were made very welcome by our hosts Leigh and Mat. Our bedroom was of a very high standard matched also by the breakfasts which had a wide range of options from an extensive menu. Leigh is particularly knowledgeable about the local area and she was helpful in helping us plan walking routes available in the local fells. The location is quiet although still convenient for Keswick town centre - just a 5 minute walk away. Keswick is a popular destination and the private off street parking available for guests at Allerdale House is a real advantage. Highly recommended.

Pros: Cute period house, rooms are spacious and amazing, breakfast really good, cakes lovely! Had a great bath too! Quiet area but 5 mins from village
