A Wonderful Retreat at The Knowe :)

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay, Annie was very welcoming and showed us around. The room we had was very spacious and absolutely immaculate with some amazing decor. Really beautiful and had patio doors out to the garden. The hot tub was massive and even had built in speakers. It was such a good price for a night away on valentine's. The breakfast was amazing, freshly made and cooked perfectly. All in all just a fantastic place with fantastic hospitality, we really felt at home. Highly recommended.

Pros: Our hosts were exceptional, really couldn't be more welcoming or hospitatal. Beautifully located surroundings, rooms were so clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful.

Lovely host, lovely area.

Pros: Annie is such a lovely host. Was so nice to have a chat with her at breakfast. The decor was very homely, and the nearby area is absolutely gorgeous. A direct walkway runs from the retreat to a lovely forest, and in the other way, a river.

Cons: The outside garden area was slightly more cluttered than the photos on booking.com.

Pros: Annie couldn't do enough for us, made us feel so welcome. Had a great stay and will come back.

Pros: Annie was absolutely lovely and we had the best time from the comfort of the water bed to the beautiful private garden with the hot tub everything was absolutely perfect, we had a lovely breakfast and lovely chat with Annie , she was the perfect host, she definitely has thought of everything to make your stay perfect, I wasn't feeling that good on the Saturday afternoon with a sore stomache and there was even a hot water bottle in our linen closet in our room which helped greatly, We would definitely recommend and we will definitely be going back , we had an amazing chilled weekend, it's a stunning place views beautiful, u cant help but relax , Thankyou Annie and wee will see you soon xxx

Pros: I don't have the words to do Annie and The Retreat justice. Location - excellent Accommodation - high end Service - first class, welcoming, friendly

No hassle stay, very relaxed.

Pros: Breakfast was on time and very nice. Had some interesting conversations with Annie! Annie is an artisan of her craft. Come and go as you please. It's a great place to stay. You won't be disappointed! My scooter was under a car port so stayed dry whilst parked up over night. Great! Paul.

Pros: Excellent stay in the most beautiful house in an amazing quiet location close to Ayr. Annie was the best host and served up a delicious breakfast. Would absolutely recommend and would stay again without hesitation! Thankyou Annie 😊

Pros: Everything. The initial welcome by Annie was superb. The room was perfect with luxury furnishings, and hospitality was 10 out of 10. In a lovely position and the breakfast was devine. You won't be disappointed
