Great stay with amazing staff

Pros: The location was perfect for our hike up seathwaite fell. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful and polite. This is the 2nd YHA hostel I've stayed in and can safely say I'm converted. The borrowdale hostel is magnificent and a right trip down history lane!

Cons: The only thing that let it down was the price £65 for 1 night is the same as a hotel. Probably didn't help that it was half term and is normal for businesses to increase prices during those times. But it was worth it in the end due to the location.

Pros: Had a really good experience with 7 of my friends here. We booked a 6 bed room and a sleeping pod. Both were clean and all the common toilets were accessible at all times without any need of waiting. The staff were friendly and welcoming! Would recommend if you wanna hike catbells or castle crag.

Easy peasy

Pros: Friendly staff from the beginning of the stay till the end. I had a chance to buy a Gluten-free products and enjoy a Gluten-free breakfast. Facilities were good. Dry room. Location: easy to reach other locations of interests.

Cons: Road to the hostel was very narrow and with some pots.

Favourite YHA

Pros: Staff excellent, location perfect. Bar great and cosy.

Cons: It's a yha so you know what to expect. This one is getting a little tired but we don't mind that. Be nice if they had a little fire or something in the main room as its not as cosy as the bar area.

Better than i had expected

Pros: Really nice and freindly staff, very welcoming, paid for a cabin tent, very cleqn and warm, extreamly quiet at night, food out of the kitchen was great, and reasonably priced. Just good vibes on our stay.

Clean and peaceful
