Scenery Hill Hideaways The Coach House Charming Retreat with Jacuzzi and BBQ Hut Near the Lake District

Cosy, spotless + attention to detail, superb - will be back!

Pros: Great hideaway spot, mainly came for the hot tub - didn't disappoint! Place was spotless, couldn't fault. Host was wonderful, thought of every detail. BBQ hut - lovely. We'll be back!

Pros: Great place to bring in the New Year - we loved the BBQ hut and hot tub!

Cons: We didn’t realise it was quite so ‘open plan’. The second bedroom is a mezzanine floor so you are all effectively in together. The height of the ceiling upstairs was a bit challenging for my 6ft son! And the ladder to access is very tight and very steep.

Pros: Lovely night away and would highly recommend to anyone. Definitely going back sometime in the future.

Beautiful little Hideaway

Pros: Loved everything! From the fairy lit pathway up to the house, the house itself and up to the BBQ hut was cute, cosy and quiet. We especially enjoyed the hot tub on an evening after long walks and the BBQ hut is worth a visit too! The only complaint i have is.... the bed is too comfortable! I did not want to get up 🤣. In all seriousness, beautiful place and we enjoyed our much needed peaceful couple of nights here.

Our stay was absolutely perfect and I’d reccomend for everyone to go stay there.

Pros: Everything about the stay was amazing , me and my boyfriend had the bestest time and will deffinitely be back, the hot tub was in the perfect spot and I loved going in it in the evening when it was all quiet and dark. We loved the bbq hut aswell and the bbq package was amazing

Pros: We loved everything about the property, it was clean, comfortable and we enjoyed the hot tub and bbq hut

Cons: We paid to stay for 2 nights but was only provided enough bbq bricks and fire lighter for 1 night. We really struggled to find somewhere to buy more for the 2nd night as it is no longer bbq season. We found bbq bricks but the ran out of firelighters so unfortunately we couldn’t use the bbq hut on our last night which was very disappointing as we spent a fortune buying bbq food. I read many reviews before we arrived to prepare and every one said that bbq bricks were refilled during the stay so this was very disappointing as we would have come prepared.

amazing time and good change to relax and recharge

Pros: when we first got to the property it was stunning very clean and a beautiful little walk way to the coach house where we stayed, the owner thought of everything possible to ensure you have an amazing experience, the property was very clean and tidy and was made very cozy for our arrival, it’s in a very quite place so very beautiful and peaceful i would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a peaceful getaway i will be definitely be booking again soon

Pros: We stayed here for a few nights with the dog, and the cottage was lovely, cosy and very clean on arrival! The location is great for days out in the Lake District and the BBQ hut is a great addition. We used this every night as well as the jacuzzi and both were really easy to use!! We would definitely stay here again and have already recommended this accommodation to friends. Joanna was really helpful in the lead up to the visit with recommendations and guides on everything you need to know about the property!!
