Cosy cottage

Pros: This was a perfect base for our drive north to Scotland with two small children. We loved the fire which was a nice bonus. Comfortable rooms and good shower. Great comms with the hosts

Wonderful Valentines stay, lovely location and dog friendly. Would absolutely recommend and visit again.

Pros: Absolutely gorgeous cottage with everything you could need. Lovely decor, comfy bed, super hot shower and a roaring fire.

Cons: Nothing. It was fabulous!

Great Stay

Pros: Absolutley loved the cottage, great little dog walk up to the nearby church. And loved the log burner. Shame we had to leave early Sunday morning, but thought we would hit the M6 whilst its quiet. Thanks for A great stay x

Lovely well equipped cottage.

Pros: Comfortable cottage with everything you could need. Easy parking. Ideal for us as we can visit our son who lives nearby. This is our third visit and will be returning.

Cons: Everything is good. No complaints.

Pros: Lovely, cosy little cottage in a quiet location. The cottage is equipped with everything you could need, and the log burner is a real bonus. Great selection of books, games, and local information. Excellent communication from friendly hosts.

Cons: The property features a reed diffuser/air fresheners, and the bed sheets had been laundered with a scented product. Not a criticism - I was able to work around it - just something to be aware of if you are sensitive to perfumes.

Pros: Lovely clean cottage with comfy beds. Well equipped. Lovely local dogs walks and great local pub. Made you feel welcome and joined in the pub quiz. Ann the host was just fab and super responsive and kind. Hope to be back at some point. :)

Would definitely return for longer!

Pros: The cottage is beautiful, warm and with everything you need. We were only passing through, so only stayed for one night, but would have been very happy staying here for longer and exploring the area. The hosts were great, emailed instructions etc over almost straight after booking.

Pros: Lovely cottage, beautiful inside and very clean and cosy. The host was helpful when we messaged and they had set up the log burner for us so all we had to do was light it. Quiet location for a nice relaxed get away. Very cheap for what you got!

Cons: Only down side was no WiFi at the moment but there was good signal.

Superb and spacious.cottage

Pros: The cottage was very comfortable with everything me and Maggie needed. Loved having the multi fuel burner on, but, boy, does it throw out some heat. Very clean and tidy. Enjoyed the location. Ann and John were very helpful if I needed some extra coal. Thank you John for making a fire up for us when Maggie and I went on a walk. Very accommodating for letting Maggie, my dog, stay there with throws and a dog bowl. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Thank you 🙏 😊

Cons: I couldn't fault it, but then I enjoyed not being connected to WiFi. Maybe a CD or DVD player so I could play music or use the DVD player as an alternative to digital TV.
