Just what the Dr ordered

Pros: The property is perfectly located a stone's throw from the water. With me and my friends in the area for the soul purpose of catching up and hitting some pubs, the property is well situated withing the centre of town. The property itself is nicely decorated and very clean, the separate bedrooms were all of good size and the beds were very comfortable :) The downstairs of the property had the living room and kitchen which weren't really used but was otherwise very clean, tidy and modern. I would definitely visit again.

Cons: Being in the centre of town and on a busy road, there was a lot of noise both from locals who had been on a night out yelling and the traffic early in the morning, if youre a light sleeper, I would recommend your room being in the back of the property and not front as my friends said that they couldn't hear it as bad. I have nothing else to comment on.. loved our stay.

Pros: Great location, spacious bedrooms and very comfy beds. We really enjoyed stay, one bathroom wasn’t a problem for 8 people. In biggest room there is extra single bed what was an advantage as we were traveling with teenagers. I would recommend

Clean, bright and comfortable.

Pros: The house was very spacious, clean and bright. Beds were comfy and well fittted out with good quality bedding All that we needed for a stop over. Access with the key code was easy and there was room for all of us to relax and unwind after a days drive.

Cons: Road past the front door was a bit busy and parking down the road was challenging to bring all our luggae from the car. The times for parking was not sign posted so that was a bit nerve racking hoping not to get a PCN but kept the meter paid way past possible parking hpours. The lounge seats are a bit low for us pensioners so getting up from them was challenging but very comfortable through.

A lovely big house to suit all families and friends.

Pros: The house is in a good location; close to all the amenities of the town centre and the lovely harbour of Whitehaven. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfy. The house was a great place to stay for our family of 3 adults and 2 young children. Lauren was very helpful and thoughtful. Answering our questions before we came and checking we had everything we needed during our stay. The house has no parking but we pulled up outside to load and unload the car with children and belongings each day and then moved the car to the car park almost opposite the property that offers 24 hour parking or a good deal for 5 consecutive days so we were able to come and go as we pleased. The local beaches are a great day out with children especially St Bees and the Lakes were stunning!

Overall a pleasing experience. Would choose to stay again

Pros: Close to town centre, very spacious rooms, good amount of kitchen utensils, good bed quality

Cons: No shower screen, bathroom sink plug got stuck, breakfast barstools too restrictive for adults
