Fantastic.

Pros: Location was a little out the way from town but the views were incredible and the place was cosy and well kept and modernised. Couldn’t fault it.

Cons: Some spider or fly repellent as they were everywhere😂

Superb location, really nice property - recommended

Pros: The location was excellent. Easy to walk to Seatoller and a really nice ramble path or two towards the lake. The house was nice, WiFi excellent and kitchen amenities very good including a state of the art microwave, cooker and dishwasher. A nice garden for the children to play football in. There was a BBQ but I did not fire it up even though the weather was glorious. We did arrive to a leaking ceiling (but this was dealt with swiftly the next day) - all in all - very nice. It was a 15 minute drive to Keswick and I discovered my new favourite supermarket - Booths - where I could buy all the essentials.

Cons: 1) the cleaning of the property could have been better - it was quite clean (especially downstairs) but there were large cobwebs in the bedrooms suggesting that the cleaning was not thorough upstairs 2) This is not so much a problem - just an observation - other properties that I have stayed at have included some essentials such as cooking oil and a few herbs and this was not the case here - however, the cutlery, cooking utensils, cookware were all very good.

Pros: The location was fantastic. Borrowdale is beautiful. We could see mountains with lamb out of the window . Stunning walks from the door

Lovely place surrounded by mountains

Pros: Location was extraordinary! The house was lovely, the ground floor was warm with heated floors, sadly upstairs was rather chilly. Other than that it was a fantastic place.

Cons: Could have used a few more kitchen bits like a decent frying pan and the upstairs was a bit cold.

Pros: The location is idyllic. Set inside the Borrowdale valley, I could look at the views from the front room sofa all day in all seasons. The views from the rear kitchen extension are equally beautiful. There are great walks directly from the house. The property is on three floors and newly renovated. T`here is a really pleasant rear garden and we sat outside and had breakfast. Easy parking at the rear of the house. If this house came on the market I would try to buy it

Great base in deepest Borrowdale

Pros: Superb base for exploring Borrowdale and surrounding fells. Spacious, flexible accommodation for 5-6 people. Extensive facilities including TV, smart speaker, log burner, bbq.

Cons: Nothing!
