Providence Cottage

Fabulous stay, lovely cottage , great facilities.

Pros: Great location , The cottage was beautifully decorated, the kitchen had everything you would need . The showers hot , beds comfy , instructions very clear and a very easy walk into the town.

Cons: The sofa in the lounge not particularly comfy , that was all .

Pros: Great location. Immaculately clean. Spacious and well equipped. Quality soft bed linen and towels. Nice to find milk and shortbread on arrival. Loads of local information provided. Easy to park outside. Very easy to find and get into with the lockbox. Lovely to have 2 bathrooms. We had a great stay.

Pros: Very well equipped cottage in excellent condition. Central location.

Cons: Would have liked a wider bed in the main bedroom although there was a wider bed in the second bedroom.

Super comfortable place to relax in beautiful Kirkcudbright

Pros: This was such a clean, comfortable cottage - perfect base for exploring the town and wider area. We loved the location within walking distance of good coffee and sunsets over the harbour. We had a couple of questions and the hosts were quick to respond and gave us recommendations too. Beds were super comfy and the kitchen had all the implements and crockery we needed for self catering.

An excellent stay in an ideally placed well equipped house.

Pros: The house was ideally positioned for exploring Galloway. It was well equipped- having everything we needed. The rooms were clean and airy. There were three toilets which proved to be useful given our one issue.

Cons: We had a problem with the flush in the main bathroom but that was fixed quickly and while we were out and therefore didn’t inconvenience us at all.

Charming cottage in the perfect location.

Pros: The cottage was cosy and comfortable in a great location. Kitchen was really well equipped with everything we needed. There was even a Christmas tree. It was just perfect.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay!

Pros: Superb & quiet location, very close to amenities such as shops, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs & a National Trust property is within walking distance. Kirkcudbright is such an interesting town & we will revisit in future.

Cons: Nothing!..... although a decent working tin opener in kitchen would've been good - we borrowed one from lovely neighbours next door which wasn't a problem :-)

Pros: The location of the property was perfect and the flat exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was fully equipped and all rooms well maintained and beautifully decorated with lots of natural light. We would definitely stay here again when in Kirkcudbright.

Comfortable & relaxing.

Pros: Great location in a quiet street, 5 mins from the town. Beautiful cottage, lovely interior, comfortable beds, and everything spotlessly clean.

Cons: Nothing at all.
