Great, well equipped, clean house with a lovely courtyard garden. Lots of character.

Pros: I always appreciate a key in a lockbox as then you are not worried about your arrival time. Liz, the host was friendly. Good communication. Thd house was very well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the basket of goodies....thanks! We turned the central heating on so the house was toasty. There was plenty of space and it was easy to walk into the town and the local Coop.

Cons: I didn't realise the house was on 3 floors with the bathroom on the top floor (although we had use of the outside loo too!). I was travelling with my parents who are in mid 80s... they found all the stairs difficult. My dad struggled to watch TV as the screen was quite small.

Pros: Beautiful garden, flowers and birds. Comfortable beds and furniture. Nice and clean. Helpful pleasant host. Peaceful.

Cons: N/A all very good.

Pros: Excellent location in the heart of Kirkcudbright, within walking distance of most points of interest and eating places. A good base also for exploring Galloway

Great value, comfortable & well equipped house in quiet town centre location. I will stay again.

Pros: Wonderful accommodating host, who lived very close and responded to our questions on arrival. Lovely welcome pack of fruit, eggs, cake, milk juice etc. Location was great, rooms good and spacious, good range of kitchen appliances. All the other rooms well equipped. Plenty of advice of local places to see and walk in, with maps provided.

Cons: Shower was almost impossible to temperature control, we took baths instead.

Pros: Everything we could possibly need. Lots of helpful extras like eggs, milk, tea, coffee, oil etc. Delicious fruit cake too. Kirkcudbright is a favourite destination

Cons: The dining room is dark and a little fusty but it is an old cottage and that room is the only one like that. The living room and bedrooms are all bright and fresh

Lovely, comfy period property with nice garden. It had everything we needed and perfectly located for visiting the local

Pros: charm, character, location, garden, every item you could ever need was provided

Cons: nothing really - a slightly larger TV perhaps but we only watched it occasionally.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay in the center of Kirkcudbright. We loved staying in this property.

Pros: The property was centrally located in Kirkcudbright with easy access to shops, pubs etc. We loved the pretty courtyard garden which we were able to make good use of due to great weather the week we stayed. Owner Liz was very helpful, approachable and gave us lots of advise about places to visit, restaurants, pubs, best beaches etc. We loved the characterful house which was comfortable and spacious.
