Well appointed Lakeland appartment

Pros: Very well appointed modern facilities within a traditional lakeland stone building. Good base for a waliking holiday with plenty of options on its doorstep.

Cons: In bad weather it would have been a bit too far to walk to the amenities in Keswick on an evening. Fortunately we were blessed with no rain.

Great accommodation on the edge of Keswick.

Pros: Modern apartment in a beautiful old building . Although we didn’t see the hosts they were very responsive and supportive

A quiet comfortable home away from home

Pros: the location just outside of Keswick. The house was thoughtfully equipped. Thank you for a great stay

Cons: The only thing was that I had hoped to be able to see the countryside but we were at the back of the property

Pros: Very well equipped, very comfortable and in a very peaceful part of Keswick. All in all a lovely apartment.

Pros: It's a quiet place with an amazing view! If you're lucky enough to catch a sunny day, you can end it by enjoying a glass of wine outdoors, surrounded by perfectly green, rolling hills and a beautiful sunset. As a bonus, the host has generously left some homemade marmalade with whiskey for guests—it's truly delicious! 😊

Cons: I recommend reading the directions carefully before starting your trip, as the GPS may not pinpoint the location accurately, and the internet signal is quite weak in the area until you reach the property and connect to Wi-Fi. A suggestion for the host: providing a map with directions could be helpful, as it might be easier to follow than written instructions alone.

A lovely cottage off the main street

Pros: The location was exceptional. The view from the car park was pretty spectacular on a clear day. The cottage was lovely

Cons: The drive up to the cottage after leaving the main street is pretty rough till you were about 150 yards from the cottage. The mattress on the bed was a little too soft for our liking but still slept reasonably well...

Pros: Great home! Beautiful place in the countryside 😊 and very close to the city centre.

A great place to stay in the northern Lakes.

Pros: Convenient location for Keswick and northern Lakes. Very comfortable, warm and exceptionally well equipped. Incredible views from the car parking area. 10 minute walk to bus stop - a very easy way for getting around - can highly recommend.

Cons: Quite dark interior as it is situated in an inner courtyard. No view from the property itself but, to be fair, there is a picnic table near the car park to take advantage of the views. Outdoor chairs not comfortable. Specific directions to the apartment could do with being sent prior to arrival. Wasn’t sure where to go, it wasn’t obvious, especially in the rain and dark. A longer walk into town than we expected but it is downhill. A real slog walking back!

Very clean, tidy property which exceeded our expectations. We would have no hesitation staying here

Pros: The property was amazing and exceeded our expectations.The property was very clean and the hosts provided everything to make the property a home from home stay. It was in a great location for visiting the Lakes and the property itself had amazing views and was a short drive into the nearby town.

Cons: The only negative was the lower part of the driveway up to the property which did not have tarmac. This was expected as it was noted in the property write-up, my only advice is to make sure you drive very slow and be cautious of tree roots etc.
