Cobble Cottage

Excellent cosy cottage that enabled everything we wanted to do in Keswick. We would stay again!

Pros: The location of Keswick was exceptional, with everything just a short walk away. We got great use out of the fireplace and found that there was a good amount of space downstairs.

Charming cottage in a handy location for town and country.

Pros: Charming cottage, beautifully presented and dressed throughout. Good location.

Cons: Single wooden bed was very wobbly and therefore gave a poor night’s sleep for whole week. Lack of a washing machine was inconvenient. Cleaning service missed many cobwebs, dust on skirting, crumbs in bread bin and drawers, mould in shower and grubby marks on walls.

An excellent short stay would definitely like to stay again some time. PS really pleased the Railway

Pros: Went out for breakfast. Enjoyed easy start to the morning before going out.

We had a very relaxed comfortable stay.

Pros: Clean, comfortable, quiet. Everything we needed was provided.

Superb comfortable cottage within easy walking of Keswick centre.

Pros: Plenty of relaxation space, comfy sofas, well equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms and good shower. Also liked the selection of books.

Cons: On street parking on dead end road can be a bit tight to move your vehicle out so have to reverse onto busy(ish) road.

Relaxing family break

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay - the cottage was cosy, very clean and well equipped. Easy 25-min walk to the lake and into town, a d we could climb Latrigg and Walla Crag straight from the cottage. The pub next door has good food.

Awesome place to recharge

Pros: Very nice cottage with lots of homely touches. Very close everything you could want or need. Everything was clean and location is pretty good. Parking is tight but there's always somewhere close by to park.

Cons: We couldn't stay longer.

Pros: Good facilities and well equipped, very clean and good kitchen and bathroom. Cottage well located for Keswick and walks from the door, very close by pub and shop

Cons: May be some pictures on the walls downstairs would make it more homely

Great value, good location, well equipped and clean.

Pros: Spotlessly clean, very well equipped, great location only a short walk into town. Instructions were very clear and enough wood was left for the log burner for one night which was a nice touch. There is a pub directly opposite which serves food and a surprisingly large and well stocked garage Spar just around the corner.

Cons: Only real issue was parking. There is really only enough space for 4 cars in the road and 2 of the houses have parking cones. On a couple of occasions we had to park elsewhere. A washing machine would be useful!

Pros: Perfect for what we ordered. A lovely, well looked after space, with a lot of character and comfort. It was really handy to get into town with a short walk and had all the facilities needed for a group looking to hike/ walk the surrounding area. Would highly recommend.

Cons: The only issue we had was that there was no kindling for a fire. But seeing as we could have just got a newspaper and it was the middle of summer I'd say i'm really streatching to find something I didn't like.
