Pros: Galena is well situated to allow you to start many walks straight from the door .It feels very rural but is only a 5 minute walk to Glenridding .

Pros: Location was great, a very comfortable stay. The property feels slightly dated but that was clear from the photos so no problem there. When the sun shines on the patio on an April morning it is absolutely beautiful! The birds like it too.

Comfortable stay in an excellent location.

Pros: Excellent location. Lots of space. Good facilities. Off road parking.

Cons: Wifi struggled with streaming.

Pros: An amazing house, 5 mins walk from the shops and pub, set back away from the main road, no houses around so feels nicely isolated and quiet...very well equipped although could maybe do with a couple more pint glasses for a nice pint at the end of a long day!!🍻 Garage downstairs is perfect for a bit of storage and has a full size table tennis table...maybe bring a couple of balls. So glad we found this house, perfect size for our family of 4. The log fire was amazing at night when the temperature dropped!

Cons: The only thing that could've made the stay even better would be blackout blinds or curtains, the bedrooms do get bright in the morning with only the blinds keeping the morning sun out.

We had a lovely week there and would certainly recommend the property.

Pros: The property is in woodland and there are deer who visit the garden. Glenridding is in walking distance and there are several places to eat and drink and shops there. It is a good base for walking and the walks around Ullswater are lovely and not too strenuous.

Cons: The blinds don't block out enough light in the bedrooms so wear eye masks or wake up early! The path up to the house is steep and narrow so take care when driving up there.
