Very comfy place in a fabulous location

Pros: Very warm and comfortable. Fabulous views. Walking trails straight from the doorstep. High standard of furnishing. Plenty of hot water, and separate bath and shower in the bathroom. Good wi-fi. Felt very welcome. We hope to come back.

Cons: We arrived on a Sunday and need to ask a couple of questions. but the cottages.com office was closed. It appeared the fridge wasn't working, but it was only that the internal light had failed

Will return, need to sort outside bin situation other cottages had outside bins

Pros: Excellent location for views etc, maybe not if your not good at going up hills.

Cons: Lack of place to dispose of rubbish at end of stay, instructions not clear and ended up driving round with bin bags in car looking for a bin

Lovely accommodation, stunning views, perfect location for walking and watersports

Pros: Stunning views from the cottage on all floors. Lovely, well equipped, cottage. Great location. Walks from the doorstep and easy access to the lake. Previous reviews have stated cold showers, however all our showers (4 people showering daily) were lovely and hot in a fabulous, spacious walk in shower. Will definitely return and recommend

Idylic location and cosy modern cottage with great facilities

Pros: Absolutely idyllic little spot - ideal for Glenridding with good indoor and outdoor spaces and well equipt kitchen

Cons: the drive to the property was a bit hairy for a big car!!

A lovely break in a quaint cottage.

Pros: Views and layout. Very well equipped. Lovely rooms and felt very homely.

Cons: Kitchen dark - needs more lighting. It wouldn’t stop me re-booking though. Matches would be a great touch for the fire and tea bags on arrival.
